Ashley Vicary is a PhD student in Urban Studies and Planning at MIT, advised by Professors Siqi Zheng and Rafael Pereira. He has a strong foundation in economics, data science, and international development, with previous roles at the World Bank and the Reserve Bank of Australia. Ashley holds a Master’s degree in Data, Economics, and Development Policy from MIT, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Wollongong. His work centers on the intersection of data-driven policy and development, with experience in econometric modeling, financial systems, and randomized control trials.
