Abstract

It is important to rethink the agenda of the negotiations on climate change because the way it is formatted and negotiated does not interest African countries, because it does not place African problems at the centre of the discussion and does not absorb the contributions and counterparts of African nations to face the climate changes. The article aims to understand how cooperation between Brazil and Africa can contribute to building a more sustainable future and mitigating the impacts of climate change in both regions? These are regions with greater biodiversity and ethnic diversity, whose native peoples preserve a harmonious relationship with nature. For the construction of this agenda, the article seeks to analyse the identification of priorities in each region, their experiences and good practices, cooperation, and climate governance strategies, as well as the promotion of joint actions in the international sphere
